— Put the polyethylene film along the entire perimeter. For the need for heat or sound insulation, you can also put the plywood on top. It is advisable to use not a thick plywood, but there would be no problem with the excessive rise of the floor and sagging.
— Now let’s start laying the laminate. We put the first sheet with a comb against the wall at a distance of 15 mm from the wall. Later this distance will be closed with a baseboard. We put a wedge between the wall and Laminite.
— We lay the second sheet at an angle of 30 degrees a comb to the end of the first. Gradually lowering the laminate, click the sheets. According to this technology, we make subsequent sheets.
-The last sheet of the row should be cut so that 15 mm to the wall would remain. We put the wedge.
— The next row is best to lay out chess boards in the diagram — from light to black. We do the same as with the first line. The main thing is a good laminate mount, the absence of cracks between it.
— After full laying, install skirting boards. It is advisable to fix them using screws — screws. It is also advisable to strengthen the gaps between the wall and the sheets, leaving the wedge or replacing it with a small piece of laminate.
— In order to avoid changes in the size of the laminate, depending on the temperature regime, leave a distance of 15 mm between the joints with other coatings and on the doorways. They can simply be “hidden” with a special rail, which can also improve the type of coating.
As you can see, laying a laminate is not a game, but not the most difficult work, following these rules will allow you to lay a floor covering without masters yourself.
