At the end of August, Moscow was held in Moscow, at which companies presented their new products, primarily for the Russian market. Despite the fact that there were quite a few brands within the passenger compartment, the concepts of Russian AvtoVAZ were the main attention. So we were shown by increased versions of Vesta Cross and Xray Cross, as well as their sports variations by Vesta Sport and Xray Sport. But the exhibition, of course, turned out to be Lada Xcode — a compact crossover with a five -door body. Once again, more confidently, journalists and market analysts began to talk about a new round of development of the LADA brand and even give the car high grades.
Characteristics
Lada Xcode should get a rather serious set of options and improvements: a new engine, transmit, automatic parking system, navigation system and multimedia Lada Connect with Internet exit, the possibility of managing functions from a smartphone, cruise control. Most likely, Xcode will not have all -wheel drive.
Most likely, the body from the «Lada Kalina» will be taken as the base, and the front part of the Vesta.

The VAZ team does not call the exact deadlines. According to unofficial data, the X-code will appear on sale already in 2018, that is, two years after the presentation.

The authors and even the approximate cost of the serial model do not yet call.
